Great question! Your monthly membership charge makes it possible for us to send your child a handcrafted reading experience each month, as well as nameplates and **free returns**!   
  
Your membership also helps us support the authors and illustrators behind our books. We're proud to fairly support the artists who create such incredible stories—and we couldn't do it without you.  
  
Because of the dedication & support that goes into handcrafting each experience for your family, our membership fee doesn't go towards the books in the box.
